Terms and Conditions for Purchasing Starlink Equipment and Installation Services

1. Introduction

Welcome to Chigwell Satellite Ltd. By purchasing Starlink equipment and/or installation services from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Chigwell Satellite Ltd.

2. Definitions

  • Company: Chigwell Satellite Ltd.
  • Customer: The individual or entity purchasing Starlink equipment and/or installation services from Chigwell Satellite Ltd.
  • Equipment: Starlink hardware, including but not limited to satellite dishes, modems, and any other related accessories.
  • Services: The installation of Starlink equipment provided by Chigwell Satellite Ltd.

3. Purchase of Equipment

3.1 The Customer agrees to purchase the Equipment as described in the order confirmation.

3.2 All Equipment sales are final once the order is confirmed and paid for by the Customer.

4. Installation Services

4.1 Chigwell Satellite Ltd. is responsible for the installation of the Equipment at the Customer’s premises.

4.2 The Customer agrees to provide Chigwell Satellite Ltd. with reasonable access to the premises to perform the installation.

4.3 The installation date and time will be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

4.4 The Customer must ensure that the installation site is prepared and accessible. Any additional costs incurred due to site inaccessibility or unpreparedness will be the responsibility of the Customer.

5. Warranty and Liability

5.1 Chigwell Satellite Ltd. warrants that the installation services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.

5.2 If a problem arises due to the incorrect installation of the Equipment by Chigwell Satellite Ltd., we will visit the property and fix the issue at no additional cost to the Customer.

5.3 If we visit the property and determine that the problem was not due to the installation, the Customer will be charged £75 per hour plus £0.30 per mile from IG7 6DQ for the service call.

5.4 Once the Equipment has been successfully installed and registered to the Customer, Chigwell Satellite Ltd. is not responsible for any faults, malfunctions, or issues arising with the Equipment.

5.5 Any issues, faults, or malfunctions with the Equipment post-registration must be addressed directly with Starlink. Chigwell Satellite Ltd. will not be liable for any Equipment-related issues once the Equipment is registered to the Customer.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 The Customer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and care of the Equipment after installation.

6.2 The Customer must follow Starlink’s guidelines and instructions for the proper use and maintenance of the Equipment.

6.3 The Customer agrees to contact Starlink directly for any technical support or warranty claims related to the Equipment.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Chigwell Satellite Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Equipment or the performance of the Services.

7.2 Chigwell Satellite Ltd.'s total liability to the Customer shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the Equipment and Services.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

9. Amendments

Chigwell Satellite Ltd. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication to the Customer.

10. Acceptance

By purchasing Starlink equipment and/or installation services from Chigwell Satellite Ltd., the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
